(Click Here) There are a few considerations to think of when writing a great song, these folks can provide a few key hints and suggestions.... check it out!!! The HISTORY of conscious music. I just found out that there is a great conscious music buzz out there... that's what we always called what we make.... but ya search for it and find many others are demanding words with meaning. A great read on history of music and how the "conscious music scene became HOT.

Brought to you by the Chandler family, and the crew at ruffbong.... please check out the free listens on the CONSCIOUS MUSIC PAGE.... PEACE!!! And hey... ifns ya wanta download a few of our tunes straight to your mp3 player for free, go to the acidplanet page from the front page, make a FREE memberhship there, 100% free and no spam... you can download any of our tunes free as well and maybe poke around at any of the other 78,000 artists there. Check out Moe Train, Niko Jumbie, DJKenneth A, Radiochemist, hell, I could make this last all day... look at our faves list there and chances are, theirs are free for the grabbin' at ACIDplanet.

I seem to levitate toward writing a song from the first person perspective... what I feel, I am sure others do, as we are so much more the same than others can see. I know inside that we all feel the same things... the dame pains, the same confusion, the same strife... but the same happiness too. So the first person perspective seems to be a bit less finger pointive.... and still gets the mesage thru.

The togetherness we all feel is absolutely beautiful... Hometown Reggae Throwdown material is being created with that togetherness feeling present... this is community creation, and we wish to share it with other artists out there that we come across... look forward to a few collaborations that are gonna blow your mind, trying to take reggae where the Elder rastas always wished it will go.. Reggae will never die, and we are doing all that we can to keep it conscious, as that's the way of substance, and that's "keeping it real, true to form".
